Which one is you?

Research identifies two types of "stuck." They look the same from the outside. But they require completely different solutions.

"I'll do it later."

Procrastination (Active Avoidance)

  • Activity: You're busy — cleaning, scrolling, snacking. Anything but the task.
  • Emotion: Guilt. Anxiety. You know you should be doing it.
  • What's happening: Your limbic system is overriding your prefrontal cortex. Impulse wins.

"I don't know where to start."

Task Paralysis (Involuntary Freeze)

  • Activity: Staring. Mindless scrolling. You're not avoiding — you're frozen.
  • Emotion: Shame. Overwhelm. Dread of your own incapacity.
  • What's happening: Your prefrontal cortex has shut down. Overload. Depletion. The circuits are offline.

Traditional career advice treats both the same: "Just push harder." But if you're in Paralysis, pushing harder makes it worse. We diagnose first, then coach.

You're not incapable. You're depleted.

There's a difference that most coaches miss.

🔧

Capability (The Engine)

Your skills. Your knowledge. Your competence. This is stable. You don't suddenly forget how to write a resume overnight.

If you consistently fail at this specific task regardless of energy level → you need training.

Capacity (The Fuel Tank)

Your energy. Your bandwidth. Your mental fuel. This fluctuates. You could do it yesterday. Today you can't. That's not a skill problem.

"A client in burnout is not procrastinating. They are empty."

The Misdiagnosis: Coaches see Low Capacity and prescribe "more effort." But you can't accelerate on an empty tank. We run an Energy Audit first.

Which stuck persona are you?

Research identifies six distinct types. Each needs a different intervention. Generic advice fails because it ignores these differences.

The Dopamine-Starved Starter

High desire, high shame. Sits at the computer for hours unable to type a word.

Not a "why" problem — a "how" problem. Motivational speeches fail here.

🧊

The Perfectionist Freezer

High skill, high anxiety. Delays until the last minute. Fear of not meeting impossibly high standards.

Doesn't need pressure — needs safety. Lower the stakes first.

🪫

The Burnout Zombie

Cynical, exhausted, formerly a high performer. Physical depletion masquerading as "low motivation."

Intervention is subtraction, not addition. Stop adding tasks.

🥱

The Bored Procrastinator

Competent but detached. Does the bare minimum. Task has no emotional pull.

Needs meaning connection or gamification. The task itself isn't enough.

🌀

The Overwhelmed Novice

Eager but confused. Spinning wheels. Doesn't know what step comes next.

Needs a roadmap. The "stuckness" is simply a lack of procedural data.

🔒

The Contextual Captive

Wants to change, has skills, but environment forbids it. Too loud. No time. Wrong tools.

Needs boundary setting or environmental engineering. Not mindset work.

Built for how your brain actually works

Not generic productivity tips. Not one-size-fits-all coaching. A system that adapts to your specific type of "stuck."

Memory that compounds

ChatGPT starts from zero every conversation. We remember your patterns, your triggers, your wins — forever. Your data builds a profile that gets smarter every day.

We come to you

Apps fail because they require you to open them. Out of sight, out of mind. We meet you in your inbox — where you already are. Zero friction.

Dopamine-first design

Your brain needs dopamine to START, not just to finish. Our reward engine gives you micro-wins for initiating — 32,768 combinations so it never gets stale.

What if the problem isn't you?

What if you're not lazy — you just haven't found a system that works WITH your brain?

What if rejection doesn't hurt more because you're weak — but because your brain is literally wired to feel it more intensely?

What if there's nothing wrong with you at all?
